As this is our last event of the year and just before Xmas, we not only do a bit of bird watching but we also indulge in a meal and get together afterwards at Pastures Lodge in Mexborough. The meal is optional. Adwick Washlands is on Furlong Road, Harlington (S64 0JJ).

This is our annual early year trip to Rufford to hopefully see some hawfinches. Note the earlier meeting time to give us a better chance of seeing the birds. There is also, usually, a good selection of woodland and water birds to be seen. There are 2 cafes on-site for those who don't want to bring their own refreshments.

This is one of our longer trips. This well-known site is home to the Bird Fair in August. Bring your own refreshments with you as there are limited refreshment facilities. There is a parking fee of £6 for 5 hours.
