Visit to Fairburn Ings
A regular local favourite of the group. A mixture of woods, open grass fields and a large lake.
We have seen Kingfishers on this site in the past but they can be hard to find. Usually, plenty of birds on the lake and the feeders are well attended.

Directions: North up the A1 and turn off just before the Ferrybridge power station following the signs to Fairburn. Go through the village of Fairburn and follow the road for about 2 miles. Entrance to the site on your left.
